Since 1986, we have led the effort to design and develop the best quality luxury design and embroidery in India, for the international luxury market and high fashion brands.

Our creative talent and experience stretches back to the founding days of our company, but the techniques and materials we work with are at a constant change. Our team consists of a blend between pioneers and young talent from the industry, and together we run a platform with strong, deep roots and an innovative, forward-thinking vision.

Over the last year, we have also made several internal moves towards more sustainable and environmental friendly practices. This includes things such as the use of natural & non-toxic dying methods, recycling of old art-work paper into sequin sheets, conversion of old plastic bottles into new beads, and organic materials & fabrics. We have also partnered with Community Outreach Programme (CORP), which is a local NGO community platform that works to enable & create holistic development for women and children. Through their well-established and highly-reputed community centres across 13 slum communities of Mumbai, CORP provides educational and vocational training programmes aimed to support at-risk children and empowering women.

From individual embroidery panels, to complete garments, we do all our stitching in our in-house stitching department, where we do all kinds of embroidery work, with a special expertise in Aari embroidery and Zardozi stitching. Our work ranges from Wedding Gowns and Haute Couture, to Pret/Ready To Wear and Accessories, Bags & Shoes. Although we prefer long-term partnerships to fully deep-dive into each individual client’s style and design, there’s no project too big or too small for us at Saks India.
